The famously talented British rock n’ roll band, The Beatles, were on to something as their hit song, “Can’t Buy Me Love” vouches for. Another line from their music states, “love is all you need.” It seems that most everyone in the world craves to be loved from birth until death. In fact, without it, a newborn baby will not thrive and could die from lack of it. There are things one can buy to try to express love, but love itself, cannot be purchased with money. So how is it obtained? First off, it has to be freely given, without any expectation for repayment, if true love, anyway. Although seemingly hard to come by, I believe it can be found in abundance via God, people and animals, as anyone with a 4 legged best friend will attest to. Emanating from hearts and minds, then actions, the origin of love comes from great beyond, a supernatural, benevolent Godhead figure, Master of “the Universe”, seems to be the coherent source of this mysterious thing, called love.
Love itself, should always make a person feel good, whether on the giving or receiving end. Of course, lost love, will make you feel the opposite. Love is priceless in nature as it embodies purity in power, goodness and enlightenment. In this volatile world today, it can be soul affirming and bring hopeful inspiration where it cannot be found anywhere else. It is often the basis for healing and miracles as well. It “makes the world go round” and keeps life going everyday in so many different ways. Although it is an invisible force, a majority of people across the globe believe in and experience it regularly. I’ve never heard of anyone seeking out scientific proof that love does exist. It is as real as it gets!
Metaphysics definition: noun. “the branch of philosophy that deals with the first principles of things, including abstract concepts such as being, knowing, substance, cause, identity, time, and space. abstract theory or talk with no basis in reality.” Even though it is a metaphysical concept, essentially “invisible”, people throughout time, speak of the realities and importance of love. Just don’t be fooled into thinking you can buy or sell it, and even if it was possible, it undoubtedly wouldn’t be cheap.
